Cap Fréhel

Cap Fréhel, a ledgendary coastal site, is certainly one of the most impressive in Britanny, with cliffs towering over 70 metres above the sea.

There is a bird reserve on the headland with hundreds of species of birds, many nesting in the cliffs, the surrounding islets and the heathlands of the headland..

A visit to Cap Fréhel is a fine outing for ornithologists, walkers and nature lovers.

The Fort Lalatte

To the east of Cap Fréhel lies the Lalatte Fort.

Built in the 14th century by Lord Matignon the chateau was restructured in the 17th century under Louis XIV and restored in the early 20th century.

The chateau is a classified hstorical monument and can be visited every day during the season
