70kms away from Camping Chateau de Galinee lies the second most visited historical site in France, the Mont Saint-Michel which is considerably more impressive than its English counterpart Mount Saint-Michaels.

An acclaimed 'wetern marvel' the Mont Saint-Michel is a classified UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1979. It stands proudly in the Mont Saint-Michel bay which is also renknowed for its spectacular tidal activity.
