Located just 3 kms away from Camping Chateau de Galinee, the Pen Guen Golf Club is an ideal venue for campers wishing to play their favourite game.
The 18-hole course is laid out on the headland ovelooking the Pen Guen bay and beach and affords spectacular views of the Emerald Coast. Part parkland, part links-style, the course provides golfers with a real challenge for their game.

In Dinard
Some 20kms from Chateau de Galinee lies Dinard Golf Club, the second oldest club in France (1887, after Pau Golf Club), a club originally established for the English aristocracy who settled for part of the year in Dinard at the end of the 19th century.
The course is relatively short by todays standards but remains a truly fantastic 18 hole part-links course reknowned for its greens and for its spectacular views over the Emerald Coast: you will see the sea from every hole !
When the wind blows on the short 140 yard par-3 12th hole, you may need a driver or a sand-wedge…depending on which way the wind blows !!!
In Pleneuf Val André
35 kms from Saint Brieuc, on heathland overlooking the sea, the Pleneuf Val André Golf Club again offers fine coastal views.
This relatively recent course of 6618 yards becomes a particularly stiff challenge when the wind blows. A great test of golf !

Dinghies, catamarans, windsurf boards and kayaks are available for hire at the Centre Nautique de Saint-Cast. Those who are interested in learning about sailing also have the chance to take courses at the centre.

In Saint Jacut
Some 10 kms from Camping Chateau de Galinee, the Saint Jacut nautical centre is open all year and offers the chance to try your hand at sand-yachting and kite-surfing (April-October).
The kite-surf school "Sensations Kite" has been giving lessons since 2001. Kiting here is a fun activity in a friendly atmosphere and is open to people of all levels including absolute beginners. The site is an officially recognised kite-surf site and has a safety charter.

The Emerald coast offers some good diving spots. In Saint-cast two diving clubs offer lessons for beginners and experienced divers as well as organised dives. The club is active all year.

Horseriding
In Saint Cast
The Horseriding centre Bois Bras offers rding lessons to beginners and experienced ridesr alike. Set in over 60 acres of parkland, the site is only 10kms form Camping Chateau de Galinee. The club is a nationally recognised learning and has superb facilities including a covered manege, 3 outdoor training paddocks and a cross-country cours. Rides are also common in the local woods and on the beaches around Saint-Cast.

The Indian Forest tree adventure park is a great place to take the family for some fun and nerve-tingling experiences. The site is about half an hour's drive form the campsite.
